I am a Danish singer, intuitive musician, composer and sound healer. My life purpose is to inspire people to peace, joy, clarity and being.
A life purpose I fulfill by creating and composing Soul Music, combining quiet songs, chants, soul singing and meditative mantras of the East with soothing harmonies of the West. Through their union, I create soulful and meditative soundscapes for meditation, healing and inner peace.
Since 1988, I have continuously traveled all over the world for extended periods of time, meeting different cultures and gaining insight into many different styles of music and meditation.
For both short and long periods in my life, I have chosen to focus on silence and go on long journeys in the inner world. By settling in a wooded area and retreating to monasteries to meditate and reflect on big and small things, I have left myself open to listen to everything in the inner world that wanted to be heard and given a place.
Many years of experience as a singer in various contexts (rock, funk, jazz, singer songwriter and Latin American music), combined with a number of trips to the East, have given me insight into different musical styles and forms of meditation. On this basis, I have developed a unique form of music that I call Soul Music. Since 1997, I have released 30+ albums and the music has been streamed over 125 million times worldwide.
A search for inner truth
My life purpose
As a child, I loved to sing and listen to the melody of nature and experience the feeling of being without fixed beginning and end. As a sensory child and adult, I navigate and create music from the space between the spoken and the unspoken word, between what the eye sees and what my senses tell me – always in gentle search and discovery of what the inner truth will tell.
My life purpose is to invite people through the musical universe to calmly and safely reconnect to their own peaceful presence and inner truth – to create their own soul meeting with Soul Music as a travel companion.

In 1985, I had an experience with a church bell that made an unforgettable impression on me. It was a Sunday morning in Aarhus. I was walking all alone. When the church bell rang, I intuitively began to sing along with the bell. Without words. Just vowels. In that moment, nothing else existed but the church bell and my voice. An experience that made a big impression on me, and many years later it has become part of the foundation of my musical expression.
