Mantras
Singing (especially) Buddhist and Hindu *mantras is very powerful and the effect it has on our minds.
I combine the meditative mantras of the East with the beautiful harmonies of the West – with a wealth of polyphonic vowels
My music is intuitively created – and stems from silence, contemplation and the encounter with nature. Especially in the mountain landscapes of the Himalayas, where I have retreated into silence for periods of my life. In the magnificent and quiet landscape, something opened up in me: a deeper contact with my inner self and with the true nature of sound and voice.
Each note carries an intention – a silent invitation to listen deeper, find peace and remember what we often lose in the noise of everyday life.
The mantras weave themselves into layers of voices, creating a vibrant sound space where the mind quiets and the heart opens. Music is not just something we hear – it is something we feel, each note carries an intention – a silent invitation to listen deeper, find peace and remember what we often lose in the noise of everyday life.
I believe in the power of sound to heal, awaken and transform. It is with gratitude that I share my music – in the hope that it may be a gentle light and a beacon on your inner path.
*The word “mantra” comes from Sanskrit and means “tool of thought” or “sacred word”.
Each mantra is said to contain a particular vibration that is often used to calm the mind, create focus and achieve a state of meditation or inner peace.
